2023 Venue: The Festival will be returning outdoors at the Hoover Metropolitan Stadium Complex. Parking: There is free parking at The Hoover Met. Follow signs. Last day to purchase advance tickets. Friday, November 3rd. After that date, tickets can be purchased for $15 at the Gate, which includes admission to both Sat & Sun. Rain Policy: Open rain or shine. Refund Policy: No refunds.

Explore Nature, Smart Living, Art + Design, and more at Alabama’s premier fall festival, which is celebrating its 18th year November 4-5, 2023 outside at the Hoover Metropolitan Complex. Artistry, innovation, imagination, and fun await thousands of visitors as fall settles in and saturated colors blanket the area. This year’s Nature Enclave is taking its lead from Alabama Tourism’s “Year of Alabama Birding”, with special programming, exhibitions, partnerships, school outreach, and a 2023 bird-inspired Poster showing off the work of Featured Artist, Debo Groover of Debortina Studio.

MRF features:
  • Juried exhibiting artists whose work is depicting, influenced or inspired by nature in some way, who are recycling and repurposing objects into their art, or who are working with natural materials and creating beautiful crafts from wood, clay, glass, fiber, etc.

  • +Design artisans, makers & exhibitions showing off the world of design and how it supports, guides, complements, and surprises everyday life

  • Smart Living ideas and a marketplace for food, home, body, and health

  • The Nature Enclave will inspire an appreciation, enjoyment, and connection to nature and the great outdoors with special features like the return of the amazing rehabilitated birds from the Alabama Wildlife Center, the Audubon Society, and Take Root: A Tree Planting & Legacy Project

  • The 2023 Special Exhibition will spotlight works by the 2023 Featured Artist, Debo Groover of Debortina Studio juxtaposed against bird photography by members of the Audubon Society

  • Live music and dance performances on stage by local talent

  • The 12th Beer Garden craft tasting event featuring over 50 brews, homebrews, a Cask Garden, wine, beer snacks, football on screen, and more

  • WonderKid Studios and art experiences for kids inspired by nature, science, and recycling
